CardioPharmaGENET publishes its first newsletter
We are pleased to announce the publication of our first official Action newsletter, developed as a deliverable of Working Group 5 on Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation.
The newsletter provides an overview of the key milestones, collaborations, and achievements of the Action during its inaugural year, reflecting the collective efforts of the CardioPharmaGENET community in research, training, networking, policy engagement, and scientific dissemination.
Readers can learn more about the aim and structure of CardioPharmaGENET and the activities of its five Working Groups, as well as some of the highlights of the first year. These include the first Annual Meeting in Darmstadt, participation in major scientific conferences and COST Academy activities, engagement with European policy stakeholders, and scientific work addressing the implementation and cost-effectiveness of pharmacogenomics-guided treatment in cardiovascular disease. The newsletter also looks ahead to the next phase of the Action, including upcoming opportunities for grants, as well as the planned first CardioPharmaGENET Training School.
The newsletter was prepared under the leadership of Science Communication Coordinator Dr. Theodora Katsila and Deputy Science Communication Coordinator Ms Amra Džuho, as part of WG5’s efforts to strengthen the visibility, outreach, and long-term impact of CardioPharmaGENET.
