CardioPharmaGENET represented at the AtheroNET Final Meeting in Prague
The Chair of CardioPharmaGENET, Dr. Adna Ašić, represented the Action at the Final Meeting of COST Action AtheroNET, held in Prague, Czech Republic.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to present the progress and achievements of CardioPharmaGENET and to strengthen connections with a network of closely related COST Actions in cardiovascular research, including CardioRNA, AtheroNET, EU-METAHEART, INFLAMomx, and EU-RESOLVE.
Discussions focused on opportunities for continued scientific collaboration, knowledge exchange, joint activities, and support for young researchers across these interconnected European research networks. The event also highlighted the strong legacy of AtheroNET, which supported more than 30 young researchers through Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs), contributed to over 30 high-impact scientific publications, and generated numerous collaborations and spin-off initiatives extending beyond the lifetime of the Action.
Participation in the meeting further strengthened CardioPharmaGENET’s links with the wider European cardiovascular research community and opened new opportunities for synergies and future collaborative activities.
