Joint CardioPharmaGENET and INFLAMomx webinar brings together precision medicine communities

On 10 September 2026, COST Actions CardioPharmaGENET (CA24165) and INFLAMomx (CA24166) successfully organised the joint webinar “Precision Medicine at the Crossroads of Cardiovascular Disease and Inflammation.” The online event brought together 85 participants for an interdisciplinary discussion on the connections between cardiovascular disease, chronic inflammation, and precision medicine.

Moderated by Dr. Yvan Devaux, the webinar featured Dr. Adna Ašić, Chair of CardioPharmaGENET, and Dr. Andrea Gelemanović, Chair of INFLAMomx. The discussion explored how genomics, multiomics, biomarker discovery, and pharmacogenomics can contribute to more precise approaches to disease prevention, diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment. The webinar also strengthened collaboration between the two COST Actions and connected research communities working across cardiovascular medicine, inflammation, genomics, and pharmacogenomics.
